Measurements & Options
Let’s Find the Perfect Fit for Your Space
When choosing window coverings, it’s essential to consider the unique needs of each room. Indoor and outdoor fabrics have different requirements, and the ideal shade for your bedroom might not work as well in your bathroom. Start by thinking about these questions to define your needs.
Key Questions to Consider
- Room: Where will the shade be installed?
- Light: Do you want to block out or simply diffuse the light?
- Privacy: Should it offer complete privacy, or just soften the light?
- Visibility: Will it be a focal point, or should it blend into the background?
Bedroom
For restful sleep and comfort, bedroom shades should provide privacy and excellent light control.
Living Room
As a key focal point, living room shades benefit from high-quality fabrics and finishes that enhance both style and functionality.
Kitchen
A shade that’s both stylish and washable can elevate the kitchen’s look while standing up to daily use.
Bathroom
In a space that values privacy, moisture-resistant materials are essential to ensure longevity and maintain a serene atmosphere.
How to measure your window
Inside Window Frame

WIDTH: Measure inside the top of the frame.
HEIGHT: Measure both sides inside the frame. Use the shortest height.
DEPTH: Measure the depth of your window frame in three places, from the front of the opening to the glass. Use the shortest measurement.
Outside Window Frame

On the Frame or Above It:
Width: Measure between the bracket points on the wall or frame, ensuring a flat surface for bracket placement.
Height (with protruding sill): Measure from the sill up to three inches above the window opening.
Height (no protruding sill): Start from two inches below the sill and measure up to three inches above the window.
On the Frame or Above It:
Width (including trim): Measure the full width, adding ½ inch for full coverage.
Width (excluding trim): Add 1–2 inches on each side for better privacy, then measure between the marked points.
Height (with protruding sill): Measure from the sill up to three inches above the window.
Height (no protruding sill): Measure from two inches below the sill to three inches above the top.
Choose the level of privacy
Whether you want to control the entry of natural light or manage the visibility of the outside world on your daily life, you have three choices.
Our opaque fabrics prevent light infiltration and protect your privacy during the day, evening and night.
Our translucent, or semi-opaque, fabrics filter and diffuse light without allowing visibility to the interior or exterior.
Our transparent, semi-transparent, or solar fabrics filter and diffuse light and allow some visibility to the interior and exterior.
